Agriculture

Being part of a rural community, with a large farming client base, we have extensive experience in all areas of law which affect farms and farming families. We know that farming is more than just business, it is personal. Our job is to guide our clients through the legal elements of the business of farming, including Agricultural Leases, Farm Partnerships, Financing, CPO's, Rights of Way issues, Family Transfers and Succession Planning.  

Charities & Clubs; 

Sports Clubs and Charities are an essential part of our community and have their own particular legal requirements. We are fortunate to represent a large number of Sports Clubs in a variety of sports in relation to licensing, trusteeships, grant applications and leases. We also act for and advise religious bodies and charities to deal with their varied legal requirements, including property, trusteeships, governance and Canon law matters.

Construction

Over the last number of years we have acted for developers large and small in the acquisition, development and sale of housing and apartment schemes, as well as commercial and mixed developments. We have the right experience to offer comprehensive advices on all aspects of such projects, including taxation, planning, environmental, easements and funding requirements. We also deal with related building contracts and if necessary with any unavoidable disputes.

Hospitality & EntertainmenT

We have extensive experience in representing clients in the hospitality and entertainment industry ...from Public Houses, and Night Clubs, to Hotels and Restaurants.. We regularly deal with licensing, planning and regulatory issues for those businesses, as well as the development of their business by leases, franchising and acquisitions.

Manufacturing Industry

We advise clients of all sizes, from SME's to larger enterprises operating in manufacturing industries, from those manufacturing components to pharmaceuticals. We take a pragmatic approach to preparation of commercial agreements to protect our clients’ business relationships with their customers, from terms & conditions of sale, to intellectual property licensing, distribution and supply agreements. We also advise those clients on employment contracts and disputes, as well as advice on regulatory issues. We understand that each of such companies have varied legal requirements and that they need us to understand their business as well as our own.

Maritime Law and Aviation.

Despite our location, we have built up considerable experience advising and representing companies operating in the maritime and aviation sectors. We have represented our maritime clients in relation to investment in the shipping industry, ship mortgages, and international maritime disputes. We also advise aviation companies on a wide range of issues, such as airport leases, tenders, aircraft financing, maintenance disputes and regulatory matters.

Renewable Energy

As the renewable energy sector has become an increasingly important part of the Irish economy, it has become increasingly common for our clients to seek our advices in this area. From Wind Farms to Solar Farms, we have advised clients on Option Agreements and Leases, as well as on rights of way and way leave issues involved in such developments. We also have experience in the development of such projects, involving planning, environmental and grid connection issues, as well as project financing / investment and corporate structures, including joint ventures. We know that our clients need sound commercial advice, no matter which side of the project they may be involved in, to minimise the risks involved, while hopefully reaping the rewards.
